EcoForest Panama Supports Native Tree planting initiative

The LEAF/Panama Wildlife Conservation Team and Supported by OneTreePlanted and Caterpillar Foundation planted 1000 narive trees in the Santa Clara Comunity. EcoForest Panama provided techinical assitance, refreshements for all +40 volunteers and donated 500 crece verde formula as a contribution for this activitiy. The event was held in Santa Clara comunity on June 2.

Because planting trees is a heavy lift, volunteers are asked to be able-bodied and willing. Volunteers are asked to bring a mask, gloves, water bottle, shovel (if available), and wear proper shoes and clothes that they don't mind getting dirty in.

While chlidren won't be planting the trees, volunteers are encouraged to bring them along so they can be involved in other Earth-friendly activities such as litter clean-ups around town.

If you are interested in volunteering, click HERE to fill out a Google form. Volunteers will meet at City Hall, located      , at 9AM on April 17 where everyone will be assigned a team, given supplies and directed to their tree planting location.
